Then you also want to know if the selections are based on sound logic.
Why?
Well let’s take the guy who says his tips are based on “inside information”.
For starters Inside Information is flawed, unreliable and in some cases can be bordering on illegal. Think about it for a moment, someone working in a yard training horses accepting money for information? If course they are going to say what they think will get them paid! And in any case they have no idea about the opposition horses. You are better off reading the “training centers” section in the Racing Post.
Is it affordable?
When you pay for racing tips, it stands to reason that any profits you make can only really be called profits when they are over and above what you have paid for the information. If you pay £1500 a year for example, you have a long way to go before you even get a sniff of profit. And remember, most tipsters DO NOT make any profit, and the even the VERY GOOD ones can have a bad year. So although profitability is first and foremost, it has to be LOW COST and it has to have a monthly payment option.
Lastly, you must be sure that you’re dealing with someone you can trust, who isn’t going to “cut and run” with your cash.
